Welcome to 2F's blog page! This year will be a true experimentation with blogging. I will seek to communicate with you classroom occurences throughout the year. My hope is that this will allow you to have a more in depth look at what our school day looks like and what your children are learning. I will also attempt to keep you abreast of important classroom activities. I am very excited to be learning something new and to be giving you a peek into our classroom.

Kline Creek Farm

The Second Grade Students had a BLAST at Kline Creek Farm! We spent a day exploring the life of farmers and their families during the 1890s. Life was so very different back then! We had the chance to pick corn, make rope, build a barn, take a tour of a farm house, visit the chickens on the farm, see blacksmithing, watch a carpenter at work, and learn about making preserves.
