Wow! Today was a fantastic day! Workers from Office Max surprised me with tons of supplies to be used in the classroom. I was presented with an enormous boxed filled with items, as well as a comfortable chair to sit in. The students had lots of fun helping me take the supplies out of the box. They also enjoyed telling me about what they had found. There were numerous people in our classroom during this time, which helped to make this event even more special for the students and I. Not only were there workers from Office Max, but there were also reporters and even a cameraman! It is amazing to think that I was presented with approximately $1,000 worth of supplies! I am so grateful to everyone who was involved and to have been given this amazing experience. It was an extremely exciting time, and I am sure that it will be one of the major highlights of our second grade year together. I hope all of the students enjoy their rubber band balls!
